We are a diverse group of women* studying at McGill University passionate about technology and eager to spread this passion. We are leaders, hackers, builders, designers, you name it.

We strive to cultivate a warm, open-minded community of techies dedicated to supporting and encouraging women* in computing-related areas of study. Within this community, we seek to expand the opportunities of women* to explore all aspects of the technological world and to encourage them to create a positive impact on it.

1. The participation and retention of female* computer science students are encouraged

2. Women* are encouraged to become visible leaders of the industry

3. On top of encouragement, women* are given the resources, mentorship, support network, and knowledge to unlock their full potential

4. Others are shown that every woman* can have a place in tech

5. Others are shown that tech is full of a diverse mix of AWESOME women*

6. Girls* and women* are exposed to tech and are shown that building things can be fun (and a viable career choice/hobby/thing to do)

7. Stereotypes about women* in tech are disrupted

8. Members of the community find life-long friendships
